For 2003, Motorola has introduced a series of exciting new phones, and it includes this new V525 clamshell phone. Many of the capabilities of the advanced phones are present in this phone such as GPRS, Java support, MMS messaging capabilities, 24-chord polyphonic ringtones, advanced digital camera, and much more. But unlike the V300, Motorola included Bluetooth capability in the V525 which will allow it to connect wirelessly to a host of Bluetooth accessories. Motorola has provided 5MB of user storage for storing pictures in its photo album application. The GPRS and Java support allows users to surf the web using its WAP 2.0 browswer and also download Java programs to use with support for multi-player wireless gaming. It also includes AOL and ICQ instant messaging capabilities. Motorola has designed the phone with a dual LCD display. The external display uses an OLED screen while using a brilliant 64K internal color TFT display. Not to mention its Quad band capabilities, which makes this phone truly a global phone.
